Course Description: Does your research generate lots of images that you need to quantify by hand? Maybe you're counting the number of bacterial colonies on a plate, or the number of stars in the sky. Do you wish you knew how to write code to do this sort of task automatically? In this short course, participants will learn to use Python, NumPy, and scikit-image to solve problems like these.
