The bash shell is one of the oldest and most powerful methods for you to operate a computer. Many people familiar with using a mouse to click on a screen find typing commands into a shell or terminal to be unfamiliar or scary. Many programs or high performance computing environments require using a command line to connect with them. In this two hour workshop, the command line environment will be introduced. No prior experience is needed.
