Call for Applications: Digital Humanities Graduate Research Fellowship

Stanford PhD Students are invited to apply to the 2019-20 Digital Humanities Graduate Research Fellowship, offered by CESTA (Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis).

The Digital Humanities Graduate Research Fellowship is designed to prepare graduate students for a future where digital scholarship is the norm. Fellows spend the year designing and producing a piece of publishable, digitally-enhanced scholarship (an article, dissertation chapter, digital publication, etc). While working with leading experts in the digital humanities, fellows will prepare to enter the job market and explore future careers in digital scholarship.

Benefits and Funding:
• Mentorship and training to develop your research project.
• Technical and professional workshops.
• Working in CESTA’s collaborative space.
• Funding for conference travel, training, or research assistants.

Eligibility:
Application is open to Stanford graduate students working on individual projects or collaborative projects with faculty. Priority is given to PhD students in the arts and humanities who have completed their required coursework or are TGR.

If you have any questions, you may email fellowship director Dr. JD Porter (jdporter [at] stanford.edu (jdporter[at]stanford[dot]edu)) to determine if your research project is suited for the program.

Applications are due by November 20, 2019 by midnight. Click here to apply.
