CESTA Poster Symposium: A Terrific Success!

Dear friends and colleagues,

Last evening’s Poster Symposium, held at the Black Community Services Center, was a terrific success! We welcomed dozens of guests, faculty, and undergraduate Research Interns for the event, where the whole Stanford community was able to learn  in detail about the exciting research underway in Digital Humanities in our Center. Researchers prepared posters about their faculty projects, which they explained in discussion with visitors, and we also heard from Professors Gordon Chang and Zephyr Frank about their respective projects, and the many benefits of working in a vibrant and friendly collaborative space, like CESTA’s. You can find out more here: https://cesta.stanford.edu/ or by visiting us on the 4th Floor of the Wallenberg Building (160).

CESTA would not be the exceptionally welcoming and professional place it is without our staff. Thanks to Celena Allen—our Center Manager, Amita Kumar, Rani Sharma, Amanda Wilson-Bergado, Erik Steiner, Michelle Lodwick, and Brian Kersey for their wonderful work. Thanks to everyone for coming, and especially our super undergraduate researchers; and thanks for staying to enjoy the hospitality and the congenial exchange of research findings. We look forward to similar future events.

Best wishes and many thanks,
