CESTA Summer Program Comes to a Close

On Monday, August 27th, CESTA celebrated the work of our incredible interns as our Undergraduate Summer Intern Program came to a close. Throughout their time here, these students have worked with a  variety of faculty, researchers, and fellow students on an assortment of unique projects. Ranging from archiving Medieval sources to unearthing the stories of Chinese Railroad Workers, these projects have developed tremendously due to our interns’ passion and commitment.

The Undergraduate Program has encouraged the development of new technical skills as well as gaining experience in a collaborative research environment. As integral members of the project teams, our interns have participated in the methodological outlook and communal approach of Digital Humanities research. CESTA and its surrounding community gathered to recognize the accomplishments of these interns and to discuss the data created and interpretations made.
