Meet the 2020 CESTA Summer Interns

Jun 22 2020

Introducing our 2020 Summer Interns, a virtual community of digital humanities researchers.

Every summer the Center for Textual and Spatial Analysis is animated by Stanford undergraduate research interns. These students contribute to faculty projects while acquiring new skills that are consolidated in workshops and activities designed for the internship program. During the pandemic, all of this work is being done remotely: interns are advancing digital humanities research and creating a unique community of researchers from their homes. You can read below about this summer's interns and their work. This is a larger group of interns than we have had in many years, and their efforts are being sustained, also virtually, by two graduate mentors, Rachel Dubit (from the Classics Department) and Erik Fredner (from the English Department).

We’re grateful to the many campus partners who support our research and programs, including colleagues at Stanford University Libraries and the Stanford Humanities Center. The Summer 2020 undergraduate research intern cohort receives generous support from a VPUE Departmental Grant, a VPSA grant, H&S Humanities Research Intensive Fellowships, and CESTA gift funds.
