Museum of the Hidden City at the SF Urban Film Fest

We are elated to share that a project that our Spatial History Project collaborated on will be featured in the SF Urban Film Fest on Sunday, February 21, 2021, Walking Cinema: Museum of the Hidden City is an immersive audio and AR app for smartphones that guides audiences in a walking tour of the history of urban renewal in the Fillmore District of San Francisco.  A former CESTA undergrad research intern, Alijah Futterman, contributed with archival research several years ago.

The project director, Michael Epstein, along with a youth poet narrator, Samuel Getachew, will participate in a virtual panel during the SF Urban Film Fest on Sunday, February 21 at 2:30 pm (Pacific). Learn more and register for the panel here.
