Amir Eshel’s research interests lie at the intersection of contemporary literature and the arts with philosophy, specifically memory, history, political thought, and ethics. He works with CESTA as faculty directory of both the research group on The Contemporary and the Poetic Media Lab, through which he has run a number of projects on free speech, translation, and poetic thinking. His book Poetic Thinking Today was released through Stanford University Press in 2019, with a German edition following in 2020.
