Dan Edelstein is involved in a number of digital humanities projects related to his research interests in the Enlightenment and intellectual history more generally. As the founding faculty director of the Humanities + Design Research Lab at CESTA, he has led the development of tools like Palladio and Data Pen, a new social network graph visualization. Through the Writing Rights project, he explores the role of visualization in humanistic inquiry. His recent publications include a number of articles and chapters on digital humanities and the evolution of knowledge production and transmission.
