Emily Huang
UG Research Intern Cohort Year
Emily Huang is a rising junior majoring in Psychology and English. She is passionate about exploring how stories build empathy and social cognition, studying the mind as a narrative, and building bridges between cultures through storytelling. In CESTA, she is working with Prof. Joel Cabrita on the “Visible Bodies” project to center the marginalized, unpublished literary work of 20th-century African woman writers. Outside of academics, Emily enjoys playing drums with Stanford Taiko and K-Pop dance with Stanford XTRM. |
