Applications are submitted through the Stanford Humanities Center online portal, shared with CESTA.

Applications are submitted through an online form with three parts.
Basic Information
Applicants provide academic details such as SUNetID, majors or minors, class year, availability during the academic term, prior participation in CESTA programs, and Federal Work-Study eligibility.
Skills and Experience Inventory
Applicants select from a checklist of humanities research skills, digital tools, technical or design tools, programming languages, and language experience. You will also briefly describe one skill you have used or are currently developing. It is completely fine if you are new to some or all of these areas.
Research Interest and Fit
Applicants respond to a short essay about their interest in working as an undergraduate research aide with CESTA and upload a current resume. Applicants for Winter and Spring opportunities will indicate whether they are interested in hourly employment or academic credit, depending on availability.
